Under DesignLSM, we provided brand consultancy services for King's House in Chelsea, to relaunch a pub concept on the King's Road.

The goal for the existing neighbourhood pub was to revitalise the space by creating a stylish and luxurious atmosphere, along with a new British/Mediterranean menu to provide a dynamic guest experience. The client needed assistance with naming, branding, and interior design to establish a new visual identity and compelling narrative that the interior design team could bring to in the physical space. The overall branding aesthetic was to be premium, clean, modern, enticing, contemporary, and elegant.

We defined a name and design narrative based on the brand pillars of 'regal local history, five star experience, and connection through food', and crafted a brand icon from the concept of a crown formed from a continuous line. The logo icon was then carefully paired to typography for the wordmark and full logo.

To maintain consistency in creating brand collateral across all mediums, we developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines. This included logo usage, typography, and colour palette, as well as brand assets such as a bespoke brand pattern and a range of logo variations. We also demonstrated how the brand design can be applied to various items such as wayfinding signage, coasters, business cards and individual menus for food and drink.
